Yahoo! PPC Management Interface Glitch?

yahoo

Recently, I’ve been noticing a possible glitch in Yahoo’s browser-based interface for managing pay-per-click accounts.

The problem is that every time when I try to change the date range of the data I’m viewing in “Ads View”, the displayed data doesn’t update according to the new date range. I have to manually hit refresh to force the interface to display the desired data. The problem doesn’t seem to exist in any other reports.

By “Ads View” I mean: Login into Dash Board > Click on the Campaigns tab > Click into anyone of the active Campaigns > Click into anyone of the active Ad Groups > There you can see two tabs, Keywords and Ads > Click on Ads.

There you are:

This isn’t such a big problem once I realize it exists, but the warning goes out to those who haven’t noticed this glitch yet. Analyzing the wrong set of data can lead to improper decision making, which can hurt your business in the long run. So, just take a few moments and do a simple check-up to see if this glitch is happening to you too.

I am currently using Internet Explorer 7 running on Windows Vista. My co-worker is experiencing the same problem and he’s using Firefox running on Windows Vista. I’ve emailed our account manager at Yahoo and so far no solutions of any kind have been provided.

Feel free to leave comments regarding this glitch. I’ll keep you guys updated once I got a solution from my account manager.
