RSS Feeds – Suggested Changes

I usually receive around 100 updates per day from various RSS. Probably only 10 of them are actually of interest to me. What bothers me is that, if you subscribe to a blog which has more than one category, you will receive RSS updates from all categories, not just from the categories you’re interest on. When I subscribe to an RSS feed, I would like to be able to:

  1. choose a specific category to receive feeds from. Right now when you subscribe to majority of the blogs – including ours ;( – you receive feeds for all categories.
  2. setup the feed/reader not do send/display feeds containing specific keywords (similar to negative keywords in Adwords/Yahoo/Bing’s PPC platforms)

To add a category-specific feed you can install a plugin for WordPres and follow the instructions at this page. I hope it works.
