RSS Feeds – Suggested Changes

I usually receive about 100 feeds per day from various RSS sources. Probably 10 of them are what I actually am interested in. What’s bothering me is, if you subscribed to a blog that has more than one category you will receive feed from all categories, no matter what. When I subscribe to an RSS feed, I would like to be able to

  1. choose a specific category to receive feeds from. Right now when you subscribe to majority of the blogs – including ours ;( – you receive feeds for all categories.
  2. setup the feed/reader not do send/display feeds containing specific keywords (similar to negative keywords in Adwords/Yahoo/Bing’s PPC platforms)

To add a category-specific feed you can install a plugin for WordPres and follow the instructions at this page. I hope it works.
