FIDO Doesn’t Know (301 redirects)

FIDO - a Canadian GSM carrier - just rebranded. The old logo was pretty ok, the new one is not bad also:

The new brand looks better. They also lowered the minimum monthly plans, which is even better than re-branding. The website is now much cleaner and usable that the old one.

Google’s Chrome, a coincidence?

Google launched his own web browser a couple of days ago (September 1st,2008). Firefox 3 was launched not even a couple of months earlier.

Is Chorme’s launch a simple coincidence? Is is the launch date random? I tend not to believe so.

As Internet Explorer owns almost 85% of the browsers market and Firefox around 10%, Google’s move is intended to irritate Microsoft. But this will come with a cost. Google Chrome

Ok. The two years old rumors are true: Google’s Chrome, the minimal web browser from Google went on market, September 1st 2008.

I will not discuss the functionality of the browser, but I will take a quick look at the number of incoming links for the browser’s home page, Google’s Chrome Page Rang and keep records of rankings for the following keywords: chrome, web browser and browser. Let’s see how a giant like Google, can outrank other browsers pages(if this will happen)
