Why you should test this element?
You want people to some take different actions on your website. Most of the time, the best way to persuade them to take the desired action is to make them click on a button (i.e. add to cart, submit details, request a quote and so on).
Any page should have a primary and a secondary desired action (i.e. primary action will be a click on the “add to cart” or “buy now” and the secondary – which is the back up for the primary – can be to collect visitor’s email address.
Make your action buttons should stand out (not necessarily big, red call to actions) and make them look like buttons. Here’s a good explanation of what makes a good button.
